Overview
Elisavet (Ellie) Papathanasiou is a Legal Consultant in the Governmental Practice in the firm’s Brussels office. She is a Greek-qualified lawyer (member of the Bar of Athens). Her practice focuses on international trade law, including export controls and economic sanctions. She also has experience in investment and commercial arbitration and EU competition law.
Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Ellie studied international law at the University of Cambridge and was a Blue Book Trainee at the legal unit of the Directorate General for Trade of the European Commission.
