Areas of Practice
Elyssa specializes in labor and employment matters on behalf of employers from a variety of industries. She represents employers in single plaintiff, PAGA and class action litigation, involving federal and state labor and employment laws throughout the entire litigation process. She defends employers against claims of alleged discrimination, harassment, retaliation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, as well as failure to engage in the interactive process and failure to provide reasonable accommodations. She also defends against claims of wage and hour violations.
Elyssa also counsels employers and evaluates their employment policies and procedures to instill best practices and minimize exposure, with an eye towards each client’s specific business and individual needs. She conducts employment-related investigations to assist with employee discipline matters as well.
