The Panama Papers Threat: Preparation and Response
The massive data breach known to the world as the “Panama Papers” incident leaked more than 11.5 million sensitive records of the Mossack Fonseca law firm to the public, including client names, personal data, investment details and holding company structures. It is the largest breach of its kind, but it certainly will not be the last.
Your clients may not be named in the records, but many of them need help with the cybersecurity issues the breach has highlighted.
Our program will feature a multi-disciplinary panel of experts to discuss the threat posed by data breaches large and small, and what companies need to be doing now to address the threat.
You should attend if your company or your clients either own sensitive data or hold data of others, regardless of sector. You will learn the sources and nature of cybersecurity attacks, the U.S. and international laws governing the duty to protect data, how to prepare for attacks, and how to respond to a breach.
