Ava Habibian is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's Orange County office.
Areas of Practice
Ava’s experience prior to joining the firm include drafting extensive memoranda and building client relationships through client interviews, team meetings, and declaration drafting. As a Sheppard Mullin summer associate, Ava participated in the firm’s Food and Beverage team and followed CRISPR trends. Since joining the firm, Ava has built upon her summer associate experience and has joined the firm’s Food and Beverages team where she works on FDA litigation and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Ava was active in driving forward racial equality at the international level through the United Nations, Office of the High Commissioner. In 2021, the High Commissioner cited to Ava’s work 12 times when making racial equality recommendations to the U.N.’s Human Right’s Council in Geneva, Switzerland. Now, Ava looks forward to being an active member of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion program. Ava is also passionate about children’s legal rights and spent a year researching the role of a child’s guardian ad litem in California dependency proceedings. She looks forward to representing families in adoption cases on a pro-bono basis through the firm’s pro bono program.
