Sheppard Mullin is proud to honor the generations of Arab Americans who have contributed to the success of our nation and our Firm.
National Arab American Heritage Month is recognized during the month of April to celebrate the history, heritage and contributions of the diverse population of Arab Americans. While it is not yet recognized by the federal government, Arab American Heritage Month is celebrated in many U.S. states, schools, and our Firm. This time provides an opportunity to reflect on the many contributions of the more than 3.5 million Arab Americans with roots in 22 countries found in the Middle East and North African regions: Algeria, Bahrain, the Comoros Islands, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. Within all these countries are various languages, religions, and traditions Arab Americans represent as a diverse array of cultures and traditions that have enriched the diversity in our nation.
