Liisa Thomas Named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2022 Notable Women in Law
Crain’s Chicago Business has selected Liisa Thomas, Chicago office managing partner and leader of the firm’s Privacy and Cybersecurity team, for inclusion in the 2022 Notable Women in Law feature. This is Thomas’ second time being selected for this list.
Crain’s highlighted Thomas’ appointment as the first woman to lead the firm’s Chicago office, as well as recently publishing an in-depth study on law firm leadership diversity and ways to diversify the ranks of rainmakers. Crain’s also noted that her unique teaching style as an adjunct professor at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law earned Thomas the Edward Avery Harriman Law School Lectureship.
The annual list recognizes women who have practiced law for at least 10 years, serve in a senior-level role and have made a significant impact via their work.
