Marisa Miller Named Board Vice Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County
Sheppard Mullin partner Marisa Miller has been named Board Vice Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County (BBBS of SDC). In her role as board vice chair, Miller also is part of a historical milestone at the organization. For the first time in the organization's 63-year history, BBBS of SD is being led entirely by an executive team of dynamic women. Serving alongside Miller will be Board Chair, Dawn Andrews, Assistant General Counsel at SDGE, and Tina Rose, the Chief Executive Officer of BBBS of SDC. This notable group of female leaders reflects the organization's values of providing opportunities for equity in leadership roles and role models the importance of advancing women into influential leadership roles.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County has been a pillar in the community, fostering one-to-one mentoring relationships between adult volunteers, known as "Bigs," and youth, affectionately referred to as "Littles." The BBBS empirically-based program model has been instrumental in guiding and inspiring thousands of youths across San Diego County, helping them realize their full potential.
Miller also serves as the Office Managing Partner of Sheppard Mullin’s Del Mar, California office.
