Jennifer Lee and Ramela Ohanian Named 2024 Women of Influence: Attorneys by the Los Angeles Business Journal
Corporate and Entertainment partner Jennifer Lee and Entertainment partner Ramela Ohanian were selected as “Women of Influence: Attorneys” by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
The annual list recognizes influential women legal professionals who have demonstrated exceptional skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large. Honorees were selected based on nomination materials submitted to the Los Angeles Business Journal and reviewed by the editorial department.
Lee was recognized for representing domestic and international clients in high-profile cross-border M&A transactions, including Toho Co. Ltd, Japan’s largest studio and the creator of “Godzilla” in its $225 million acquisition of a 25% stake in producer-distributor Fifth Season. As a result of the deal, Fifth Season will be valued at $900 million.
Ohanian was noted for representing Hollywood’s top content producers on transactional matters. She recently supported Meta’s in-house legal team with talent deals for the launch of AI chatbots embodying cultural icons, celebrities and influencers.
