Eric Klein and Adam Streisand Named Among Daily Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers in California
The Daily Journal selected Healthcare Team Leader Eric Klein and Private Wealth and Fiduciary Litigation Team Leader Adam Streisand among its 2024 list of “Top 100 Lawyers” in California.
The publication cited Klein as “one of the nation’s most active lawyers in physician organization, hospital and post-acute M&A and joint ventures.” Klein was highlighted for his work leading significant healthcare transactions, including the formation of Mosaic Health, a joint venture between Clayton, Dubilier & Rice’s two portfolio companies and Elevance Health.
Mosaic Health is a new national primary care platform that will expand access to advanced primary care for more than 1 million people. This initiative promotes risk-based payment systems, where doctors and companies can effectively manage care and invest in preventative care. Klein and his team represented Clayton, Dubilier & Rice on the healthcare regulatory aspects of the deal.
Daily Journal noted that Streisand is known for battling over some of the most high-profile celebrity estates, including representing Rupert Murdoch in a high-profile trial “involving the real-life ‘Succession’ story.”
The publication also noted Streisand’s successes in defending Georgia Angelos over the future of the Baltimore Orioles and handling a highly publicized case involving two people who exploited a mentally ill former Malibu surgeon. In the latter, Streisand recovered tens of millions of dollars and a seven-figure judgement. This is Streisand’s seventh appearance on this prestigious list.
