Judy Suwatanapongched and Olivier Theard Named 2024 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Visionaries
Business Trial Partner Judy Suwatanapongched and Los Angeles Office Co-Managing Partner Olivier Theard were selected as 2024 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Visionaries by the Los Angeles Times. Based on nominations from dozens of DEI professionals and experts, the list represents “some of the most prominent game changers in the business world today,” according to the LA Times.
Suwatanapongched was noted for her work as current co-leader of Sheppard Mullin’s Diversity and Inclusion Attorney Network (DIAN), as well as her dedication to the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. Suwatanapongched is a founder of the Thai American Bar Association and is involved in the Thai American Samakkee Coalition and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles.
Theard was highlighted for his decade-long tenure as Sheppard Mullin’s firmwide leader of DIAN as well as his role on the firm’s Black History Month planning committee. In 2018, he received the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Award in recognition of his DEI efforts.
