Sheppard Mullin Named 2024 Healthcare Practice Group of the Year by Law360
Sheppard Mullin was named a 2024 “Healthcare Practice Group of the Year” by Law360. This marks the fourth time the firm’s Healthcare team has been selected to this prestigious list, which honors the attorney teams behind litigation wins and major deals that resonated throughout the healthcare industry over the past year.
Notably, the Healthcare team led private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice through its multibillion-dollar strategic partnership with Elevance Health, Inc. in one of the two largest healthcare services transactions of 2024. The partnership launched Mosaic Health, a state-of-the-art physician initiative expected to generate $4 billion in annual revenue by streamlining the patient experience, improving health outcomes and lowering healthcare costs, particularly for the senior population facing an increased burden of illness.
With over 200 attorneys across the country, Sheppard Mullin’s Healthcare industry team continues to bolster capabilities to provide clients with a full-service hospital and health service solution, including healthcare antitrust, regulatory, real estate, technology transactions and digital health/AI, labor and employment, non-profit governance, tax and physician alignment. In addition to being named a “Healthcare Practice Group of the Year,” Healthcare team leader Eric Klein was named a 2024 “Healthcare MVP” by Law360, which was also his fourth time earning such recognition. The team also earned the title of “Healthcare Firm of the Year,” “Deal of the Year” and “Private Equity Deal of the Year” during Global M&A Network’s 2024 M&A Atlas Awards.
