Sheppard Mullin's Washington, D.C. and New York offices are the recipients of the prestigious Frankel Award from Human Rights First for extraordinary pro bono commitment on behalf of political asylum applicants in the United States. Human Rights First is one of the leading human rights organizations in the United States. Sheppard Mullin was recognized at the Human Rights First Annual Gala Dinner in New York City on October 26, 2011.
