Carolyn Young is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's San Diego office and is a member of the firm's Healthcare team.
Areas of Practice
Carolyn advises healthcare organizations on transactional, regulatory, and general corporate matters.
In particular, Carolyn serves as an “Outside General Counsel” to California medical groups of all sizes and specialties. She helps groups handle operational questions ranging from physician contracting, peer review processes, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters. She also regularly helps groups assess and reshape their corporate structures to enhance efficiency, improve governance practices, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
Carolyn received her law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While in law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice and earned Gould's Business Law Certificate.
