Ehi Borha is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's New York office.
Areas of Practice
Ehi advises public and private companies on a broad spectrum of corporate and transactional matters, with a strong focus on corporate governance, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures within the healthcare industry. His practice spans both strategic and private equity-backed transactions, guiding clients through the complexities of structuring, negotiating, and executing deals in highly regulated sectors.
With strong knowledge in healthcare regulatory matters, Ehi counsels clients on navigating corporate practice of medicine compliance, telehealth, telemedicine, and other regulated industry transactions. He works closely with private equity firms, management service organizations (MSOs), integrated health delivery systems, group practices, and ambulatory surgery centers, advising on corporate structuring, compliance strategies, and risk mitigation. His experience includes advising on regulatory frameworks such as the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), and HIPAA.
Ehi closely monitors the evolving state and federal landscape, helping clients adapt to regulatory shifts and capitalize on emerging opportunities in digital health. His work includes advising on multistate telehealth expansion strategies, licensure and reimbursement compliance, and fraud and abuse considerations for innovative healthcare delivery models.
In addition to his transactional and regulatory practice, Ehi is an active member of the firms M&A leadership team, where he contributes to industry thought leadership through publications and insights on trends shaping the healthcare M&A market.
