Emily Papania is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.  

Areas of Practice

Emily represents employers in employment litigation matters, including matters involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination. A significant portion of her practice is devoted to defending complex wage and hour class and representative actions. Emily also represents clients before state and federal administrative agencies, including the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Emily also has extensive experience counseling employers on various legal compliance issues involving federal and state employment laws, employee discipline and terminations, leaves of absence, internal complaints and investigations and maintaining compliant personnel policies and practices.
