COVID-19 and the Law: What Companies Need to Know About The $2.2 Trillion Stimulus Package
On Friday, March 27th, the President signed into law the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act of 2020 (the “CARES Act”). With a price tag of $2 Trillion, the CARES Act is the largest economic stimulus bill in modern history and more than doubles the stimulus act enacted in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis.
In this webinar, we will cover major provisions of the CARES Act and what they mean for you and your business, including:
- Relief for Individuals and Families
- Relief for Small Businesses (not more than 500 employees)
- Relief for Medium-Sized Businesses (between 500 and 10,000 employees)
- Assistance for Eligible Businesses (including air carriers, businesses important to national security and other businesses not otherwise receiving adequate relief), States and Municipalities
- Healthcare Provisions
- Educational Provisions
