Decarbonizing the American Energy Economy: The Infrastructure Challenges and Associated Regulatory Issues
When:
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. EST
Sheppard Mullin Panelist:
Mark Sundback
About:
Decarbonization will require innovations in energy resource production and significant associated infrastructure adaptation. It will also require integration for transportation and energy management purposes. This program focuses on one context where this process has already been initiated, hydrogen manufacture and deployment. By centering on this context, this program will provide a forum for in-depth dialouge and evaluation of analogous issues which may be anticipated in a wide range of decarbonization issues and initiatives. With this objective in mind, the panel will include counsel broadly familiar with innovative energy development issues, domestically and internationally; utility regulatory issues in both the gas and electric industries; and a senior technologist currently deeply involved in the Low Carbon Research Initiative undertaken by the Gast Technology Institute and the Electric Power Research Institute.
