Along with new consumer rights and obligations imposed on businesses, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) also includes an expansion of private enforcement through litigation and the creation of the California Privacy Protection Agency – the first regulatory agency in the United States dedicated to consumer privacy issues.
