Chips, Data, Standards: Building a Competitive AI Economy
What makes AI go round? How do U.S. laws support, or detract, from a competitive AI economy? In Chips, Data, Standards: Building a Competitive AI Economy, a panel of industry, legal, and government experts will explore what goes into powering and regulating AI in today’s economy. The panel will start with a brief overview of the current landscape governing AI infrastructure and its supply chain, including export controls, and how the right infrastructure is needed to keep pace with AI innovation. The panel will then address current and developing AI standards, key legal issues raised by AI, and how the standards operate in practice. The panelists will also offer their take on how to navigate these new technologies and the associated regulatory environment.
