The Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program has been in the works for some time. At the end of December 2023, the DoD released its long-awaited proposed rule to establish the CMMC Program. It’s only a matter of time until the program is finalized and will be binding for all companies working with the DoD.
