SPECIAL INVITATION TO EXCLUSIVE ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION

“Smart cities” are deploying new technologies and solutions to use existing and new data to create a better platform for city governance, citizen services, and resource consumption. Through the better use of data, these cities are using resources more efficiently and productively, leading to lowered costs and creating a sustainable and thriving community for their citizens.

Invest in Denmark and it's sister organization Copenhagen Capacity would like to invite you to a thought provoking Roundtable on Smart Cities on 12th May 6:30-8:30 PM, in conjunction with the Internet of Things World Forum. The aim is to share ideas and insights on the use of the data created by smart cities – going beyond connecting devices to making sense of the data produced while balancing citizens’ needs and security concerns.

A leading, livable lab

Copenhagen ranks in the top 10 smart cities worldwide, and leads the way as a recognized leading green capital. It has the ambitious goal to be 1st carbon neutral capital by 2020. Denmark aims to be fossil fuel independent by 2050. Denmark has 3 out of 10 mid-sized smartest cities in the European Union.
