Greg R. Carney is special counsel in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.

Areas of Practice

Greg’s practice focuses on corporate finance, securities laws and M&A. Greg represents underwriters and issuers in various industries including life sciences, healthcare, oil and gas, mining, technology, cannabis, food and beverage, transportation and REITs in capital markets transactions. His experience includes leading both underwriters and issuers in public and private corporate finance transactions, including, but not limited to, initial public offerings, shelf registrations, registered direct transactions, private investments in public equity (PIPEs), private placements, secondary market purchases and other securities offerings. In addition, Greg represents buyers, sellers, private equity funds and financial advisors in public and private M&A transactions, including leveraged buyouts, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and recapitalizations.
