Overview

Hala Khalil is an attorney in the Entertainment, Technology, and Media Practice Group in the firm's Century City office. 

As a Fulbright Scholar, Hala received her LL.M. from University of California Los Angeles where she specialized in Media, Entertainment and Technology and was ranked number one in her class. During her LL.M. year, she was appointed as an LL.M. representative for both the law school’s COVID-19 Task Force and the Law and Entrepreneurship Association. She also served as the student speaker representing the LL.M. and S.J.D. class for the commencement ceremony.

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Hala was an Entertainment Associate at Alem & Associates in Beirut, Lebanon. In her role, she handled a variety of media and entertainment transactions in the Middle East region, including those pertaining to licensing and format acquisitions, and television and motion picture productions.

When Hala is not busy with law matters, she enjoys reading Arabic novels, sunbathing by the Mediterranean and hunting vintage vinyl records.
