Overview
Josh Block is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Century City office. He is also a member of the firm’s Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance Team.
Areas of Practice
Josh focuses his corporate practice on advising public and private companies in a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, joint ventures and corporate governance, with a focus on the media and entertainment industries. While he is deeply engaged in the media and entertainment industries, Josh also has extensive experience with renewable energy project finance transactions, with an emphasis on debt and tax equity financing of wind and solar energy facilities.
Josh earned his J.D. cum laude from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he served as Senior Editor for the Northwestern Journal of International Law & Business. Prior to law school, Josh earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of California, Davis, where he also competed as a Division I student-athlete on the track and field team.
