Joe Denapole is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.
Areas of Practice
Joe represents clients in a variety of complex commercial and business litigation matters in both state and federal court, with a special emphasis on construction and insurance bad faith litigation. He advocates for his clients throughout all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, case-dispositive hearings, mediations, arbitrations, pre-trial preparation, and post-judgment debtor examinations.
Joe’s construction litigation experience includes representing owners, developers, and investors in a variety of business disputes, including construction defect, delay, and mechanic’s lien actions. His insurance litigation experience includes representing insurance companies in a wide spectrum of first- and third-party bad faith matters, including coverage disputes, unfair business practices claims, and uninsured motorist matters. He also has experience conducting internal corporate investigations.
Joe is dedicated to pro bono work and has represented clients in a variety of matters, including asylum seekers and those involved in landlord-tenant disputes through the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program (SDVLP), a prominent local legal aid organization.
While in law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Consuelo B. Marshall at the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He also served as senior production editor for the Hastings Law Journal.
