John A. Glassgow

John Glassgow is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm’s Chicago office.

Areas of Practice

John concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and financing transactions representing private equity funds, independent sponsors, and their portfolio companies with a particular focus on healthcare providers.

In addition to his general experience in mergers and acquisitions, he has extensive experience representing borrowers and lenders in secured and unsecured financings ranging from several million to several billion dollars including acquisition financings, mezzanine loans, term loans, revolving loans, working capital and letter-of-credit facilities.

John is a trusted advisor to private equity funds, independent sponsors, and their portfolio companies and regularly advises them on complex corporate transactions.

Experience

• Representation of Thurston Group in the acquisition work for its endodontic platform U.S. Endo Partners OPCO.

• Representation of Thurston Group in the connection with the formation of Thurston Fund I, LP

• Represented HC Private Investment and its portfolio company, Kruger Plastic Products LLC, in connection with the acquisition of Northern California Injection Molding, LLC and El Dorado Molds, LLC, California based custom injection molding manufacturers of niche products and components.

• Representation of NDH REIT OP, LP in connection with its formation and multiple acquisitions 

• Representation of Thurston Group in connection with the initial acquisition of Gen4 Dental Partners OPCO and related add-on acquisition work

• Representation of Thurston Group in connection with the initial acquisition of US Orthopedics OPCO and related add-on acquisition work
