Kiersten Ahrns is an associate in the Real Estate, Energy, Land Use & Environmental Practice Group and a member of the Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance Team in the firm's San Diego office.
Areas of Practice
Kiersten’s practice focuses on renewable energy transactions with emphasis on debt and tax equity financing of wind, battery storage, and solar energy projects. She also advises clients on real estate aspects of M&A and private equity transactions.
Kiersten maintains an active pro bono practice and represents clients in real estate and immigration matters.
While in law school, Kiersten participated in the USC Small Business Clinic and advised local startup companies, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits on entity formation and corporate governance issues. Prior to law school, she worked for a state natural resource agency and national forestry association in Washington, DC. Kiersten graduated summa cum laude from Ohio State University, where she was a member of the collegiate equestrian team.
