On April 16, 2018, Sheppard Mullin announced the opening of an office in Dallas. Law360 quoted vice chairman Jon Newby, “With our Dallas-area client list continuing to grow and the Dallas legal market becoming ever more competitive, we felt now was the time,” he said, adding that eventually he'd like to see as many as 60 attorneys in the Dallas office. “This group is highly talented with strong and diverse practices which mirror the firm's overall broad practice mix. They're also great people who fit really well with the firm's culture and who will be great ambassadors as we continue to grow the office.”
