San Francisco partner Erinn Contreras comments on two affordable housing initiatives that were recently passed in California. Contreras says the initiatives will benefit the construction industry and that, "A company new to the game may find that taking the state’s money can cause their project to qualify, to some extent, as a public works project, subjecting it to various requirements such as prevailing wage."
