Sheppard Mullin Latest Firm To Court Cannabis Business

Sheppard Mullin announces the formation of it's cannabis industry group, led by San Diego Partner Whitney Hodges.
"I think we had attorneys taking on matters in the states as soon as [cannabis] became legal in some form or another. By having so many attorneys in the group and covering so many different localities in the U.S., we think we are uniquely positioned for cannabis operators or ancillary service providers," Whitney said. "The cannabis industry is ever evolving and impacts almost every aspect of the legal profession. I really enjoy the challenge of staying current on industry and legislative trends, and crafting answers for clients in this new(ish) and ever changing space."
