In an interview with Washington Lawyer, partner Jonathan Aronie discusses how police departments and reform groups are working together to address police brutality and create a culture of accountability for unlawful practices within police departments through the ABLE Project (Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement). Aronie, who is chair of the board of advisors for ABLE, said ABLE “prepares officers to intervene and/or report instances of unlawful police practices by their peers against citizens.”
