Megan Rooney is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Chicago office.

Areas of Practice

Megan focuses her practice on the representation of hospitals, health systems, and healthcare and life sciences companies. A former healthcare professional with firsthand clinical experience, she has unique insight into the business challenges and opportunities facing her clients. Clients seek Megan’s counsel to lead large deal teams that drive efficient and effective outcomes and achieve business goals.

Megan has in-depth knowledge in all aspects of healthcare transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, joint ventures and system restructurings for hospitals and healthcare providers. Megan regularly advises hospital and health system clients on regulatory compliance with respect to licensure, accreditation, and other state and federal regulatory matters.

Megan served as an adjunct professor of law at Northwestern University School of Law for nearly a decade and has authored multiple publications on healthcare transactions.
