Michael Roth is a partner in the Real Estate, Energy, Land Use & Environmental Practice Group in the firm's Chicago office.

Areas of Practice

Michael Roth concentrates his practice on real estate acquisition, finance, development, construction, leasing, and disposition throughout the United States, with a particular focus on hospitality projects.

He has represented owners of property on a “start to finish” basis, with significant experience in acquisition, finance, development and disposition of real estate projects.  In connection with property development, he has extensive experience in representing owners in drafting and negotiating design, construction, project management and other consulting contracts.  He has considerable experience with owners and institutional lenders on real estate finance transactions, including construction and term loans.  In the hospitality field, he has a particular focus on design and construction contracts, management agreements, food and beverage leasing and management agreements, and other operations contracts.
