Nadia Adams is special counsel in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the firm's San Diego (Del Mar) office.
Areas of Practice
Nadia represents employers and businesses before state and federal courts, arbitral tribunals, and administrative agencies in a wide variety of employment and business litigation matters, including contract, business tort, fraud, consumer protection, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour lawsuits. Nadia also represents clients prosecuting and defending trade secrets disputes. Over her career as a litigator, Nadia has tried more than 40 cases.
Nadia advises employers and human resource professionals on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour laws, workplace investigations and employee handbooks.
In addition, Nadia has extensive experience in the defense of national financial services institutions in connection with consumer protection statutes, such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and California Rosenthal Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), California Unfair Competition Law (UCL), as well as foreclosure and quiet title actions.
Nadia began her career as an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting domestic violence cases and other violent felonies.
