Areas of Practice
Nathan is a seasoned IP attorney with a strong background in organic chemistry and chemical biology, and he provides clients with comprehensive patent portfolio management and enforcement strategies in the field of biotech, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics.
Nathan’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of IP strategy, including patent prosecution, IP due diligence, and non-infringement & validity opinions. He successfully managed worldwide patent portfolios and advised on IP monetization strategies for diverse clients, including global pharmaceutical companies, technology startups, and academic institutions. He also has experience with patent litigations, post grant reviews, and interference proceedings.
Nathan works extensively on both small molecules and biologics. He is also experienced in antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), immunotherapy, gene therapy, drug delivery, biopolymers, bioinformatics, material science, and medical devices.
Growing up in Korea and being a native Korean speaker, Nathan is active in US-Korea legal practices. Nathan serves as a valuable resource for Korean and other Asian technology companies seeking to expand into the US Market.
