Nina Orteza is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's New York office.

Areas of Practice 

Nina’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and regulatory investigations. She has significant experience drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, including complaints, answers, summary judgment motions, and motions to dismiss, and managing various aspects of discovery, including written discovery requests, document productions, subpoenas, depositions, and expert discovery. Nina also maintains an active pro bono practice and has worked closely with the Innocence Project.

During law school, Nina served as a Graduate Student Instructor for the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, where she taught upper-level undergraduate writing courses in Russian literature, Polish film, and philosophy. Prior to law school, Nina taught at a university in Russia as part of the Fulbright Program.
