Patrick H. Hao

Patrick Hao is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's New York office.

Areas of Practice

Patrick’s practice focuses on advising clients on corporate transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and venture capital financings. He also advises clients on general corporate formation and governance and day-to-day legal and commercial matters. He works intimately with clients on transactions from a wide range of industries, including supplements, media, healthcare, technology, insurance, logistics, and manufacturing.

Patrick is a 2019 graduate of Fordham University School of Law where he served as the Online Editor of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal.

Experience

• Represented Biocidin Botanicals, a pioneer in botanical based nutrition products, in its acquisition by CoreCell Biosciences, an emerging industry leading manufacturer and distributor of dietary supplements intended for foundational health benefits.
• Represented GKIDS in its sale to Toho Co., Ltd.
• Represented Bison Capital in its investment in Wyo-Ben, a bentonite mining company.
• Represented US Pharma Lab, a leading US-based supplements CDMO in connection with its acquisition by Biofarma, a leading Italy-based CDMO and a portfolio company of Ardian.
• Represented SAP technology and consulting firm in a sale to a public multinational information technology services and consulting company.
• Represented Thomson Reuters Corporation in the sale of its Checkpoint Learning and West LegalEdcenter business lines to CeriFi, a portfolio company of Leeds Equity Partners.
