Sheppard Mullin Representing Gramercy Risk Holdings in its Investment by Core Specialty Insurance Holdings

The firm is advising New York-based Gramercy Risk Holdings, LLC (“Gramercy”), a full-service insurance management and risk-financing platform, in connection with a minority investment by Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Core Specialty provides a range of specialty insurance products for small to mid-sized companies. In addition to its investment, Core Specialty’s insurance subsidiaries will become the exclusive policy-issuing carriers for Gramercy products.
The deal team was led by partner Shon Glusky and special counsel Jeff Gardner. Partner Frank Dworak advised on tax aspects of the deal.
