Sheppard Mullin and PricewaterhouseCoopers Welcome Tech Coast Angels Chairman

The second CCVF lecture event of 2002 will feature Ken Deemer, Chairman of Tech Coast Angels. Deemer will speak on "New Angel Investment Strategies". This event includes a wine and cheese reception and will be held Tuesday, March 12 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza Hotel in Westlake Village.

Deemer will be welcomed to the event and introduced by Jim Haslem of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP and by Gregory D. Njoes of PricewaterhouseCoopers. The event is hosted by the Central Coast Venture Forum ( www.ccvf.org ). Sheppard Mullin and PricewaterhouseCoopers are senior sponsors of CCVF.

CCVF will hold its sixth annual investor conference on June 14, 2002. The conference is the largest of its kind on California's Central Coast, a technology corridor encompassing northern Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. The event showcases the region's leading entrepreneurs and emerging-growth companies to venture capitalists and angel investors. The third CCVF lecture event of 2002 will feature Alex Suh, Managing Director, California Technology Ventures. Suh will address "New Venture Capital Investment Strategies." This breakfast event will occur on Friday, April 12, 2002 at 8:30 a.m. at Fess Parker's Doubletree Hotel in Santa Barbara.
