Sheppard Mullin Expands Santa Barbara Office With Three Attorneys
Christina L. Costley and Alexey Vorobiov have joined the Santa Barbara office of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP. Costley, an associate in Sheppard Mullin's Business Trial practice group, and Vorobiov, an associate in the firm's Labor and Employment practice group, both most recently practiced with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto.
Additionally, special counsel J. Daniel Farrell has relocated to Sheppard Mullin's Santa Barbara office from the firm's New York location. Farrell is a member of the firm's Business Trial practice group.
Costley's practice focuses on the defense of public corporations in securities class actions and shareholder derivative actions. She also has experience representing corporations and individuals in SEC enforcement proceedings and internal investigations.
Prior to private practice, Costley worked as a criminal defense attorney in the Santa Clara County Office of the Public Defender, where she tried over fifteen cases to verdict.
Vorobiov represents management in all aspects of labor and employment law. He counsels employers on the full spectrum of employment issues and represents employers in litigation and arbitration on a broad range of matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, wage and hour, trade secret, wrongful termination, and all other types of employment law matters.

Costley earned a J.D. from University of California Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law in 2003. Vorobiov earned a J.D. from University of California Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law in 2002. Farrell earned a J.D. from Tulane University in 1993.
