Greg Berk Brings Immigration Expertise to Sheppard Mullin
Greg L. Berk has joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group, based in the firm's Orange County office. Berk joins from Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger, where he chaired the firm’s immigration practice group.
Berk will be assisting Sheppard Mullin clients worldwide in assisting them on hiring and retaining talented foreign nationals that are needed in their workforce. Frequently, HR managers must place a foreign national on the payroll within a few weeks. Berk understands these time pressures and jumps to meet client expectations and simplify the immigration process.
Berk received his J.D. from Western State University College of Law in 1990, MBA from George Washington University in 1984 and B.A. from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 1982.
Last week, Jennifer Renk joined Sheppard Mullin’s San Francisco office in the firm’s Real Estate, Land Use and Environmental practice group, from McKenna, Long & Aldridge.
Sheppard Mullin has 65 attorneys based in its Orange County office. The firm’s Labor and Employment practice group includes 100 attorneys firmwide.
