Adam M. Freiman has joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP in the firm’s New York office as a partner in the firm's Corporate practice group. Freiman joins from King & Spalding.
“We are pleased to welcome Adam to the firm, as the latest high profile partner to join our expanding Corporate practice group. He brings a broad range of corporate finance, emerging growth, private equity and merger and acquisition experience,” said Guy N. Halgren, chairman of Sheppard Mullin.
“Adam adds depth and strength to our growing transactional practice in New York, as his private equity, venture capital and M&A practice fits well with existing capabilities. He also adds expertise on the East Coast in securities offerings, corporate governance and 1934 reporting,” added Shon E. Glusky, co-chair of Sheppard Mullin’s Corporate practice group.
“We are very happy that Adam is joining us in New York. While we continue to expand our NY presence in several areas, we have targeted our corporate capabilities and the result is a robust transactional presence that now includes more than 15 attorneys in New York," commented Blaine Templeman, managing partner of Sheppard Mullin’s New York office.
"I am thrilled to join Sheppard Mullin and look forward to practicing with the attorneys in New York and firmwide. I was particularly impressed with the firm’s vibrant Corporate practice group and successful expansion in New York, as well as the firm’s collaborative culture and entrepreneurial spirit," Freiman stated.

He has represented both issuers and underwriters in connection with initial and secondary public offerings, “shelf” offerings, Rule 144A and other private placement transactions, and exchange and tender offers. These transactions have involved a variety of products, including equity securities, high yield debt, investment grade debt and convertible debt.
