Sheppard Mullin Proudly Joins “LA Represents” Pro Bono Initiative
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is proud to join “LA Represents,” an unprecedented pro bono initiative to help thousands of Angelenos currently facing extreme hardship due to the coronavirus pandemic. Announced today by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, “LA Represents” is a coalition of law firms, bar associations and attorneys that will enhance their existing pro bono commitments to legal aid organizations to provide COVID-19-related legal services, including helping vulnerable tenants, domestic violence victims and low income individuals with employment, consumer debt and bankruptcy matters. As part of LA Represents, Sheppard Mullin will partner with Bet Tzedek Legal Services and other law firms to build a new support system for small businesses devastated by COVID-19.
“It’s an honor to join forces with our peers at other law firms and legal service organizations to try to help Los Angeles citizens and businesses during this challenging time who will require legal assistance,” said Dan Brown, Sheppard Mullin’s Pro Bono Partner.
