Sheppard Mullin Represents Goldwind In Sale Of UEP Penonome I, SRL TO AES Panamá S.R.L.

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP represented Goldwind Americas, a regional subsidiary of Goldwind International Holdings (HK) Limited, a world-leading wind turbine technology and energy solutions provider, in the sale of a 55 MW wind electrical generation facility located in the district of Penonomé in the Coclé Province of the Republic of Panama to AES Panamá S.R.L. (“AES Panamá”), a subsidiary of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES) and Panama’s largest power generator. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Sheppard Mullin team was led by partner Christine Hourcade-Hoefliger and associate Winnie Weil with assistance on tax from partner Keith Gercken and associate John Crisp.
