Sheppard Mullin Partner Greg Berk Authors New Book On Immigration Law
Sheppard Mullin is pleased to announce that Orange County-based partner Greg Berk has authored a new book that was published by The American Bar Association (ABA) entitled “Immigration Checklists and Practice Pointers.” The book, a practical guide for in-house counsel, human resource managers, and private practitioners, is a hands-on desk reference that provides concise answers regarding business visas and immigration issues.
“Visa petitions have become enormously complex," said Berk. “ The book is designed to help practitioners, general counsel, and HR managers navigate the immigration landscape when working on visas, I-9’s, and general compliance requirements imposed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Labor, and the U.S. State Department.”
Berk leads Sheppard Mullin’s Immigration practice and is a certified specialist in immigration and nationality law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He has more than 20 years’ experience advising on all aspects of U.S. immigration matters.
