Sheppard Mullin Signs EqualAI Pledge To Help Reduce Bias In Artificial Intelligence
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP has committed to the EqualAI® pledge, becoming the first law firm to join a growing number of organizations who are collaborating to help reduce bias in artificial intelligence (AI). EqualAI, a nonprofit led by former U.S. Associate Deputy Attorney General and Senior Policy Advisor to The White House Miriam Vogel, focuses on illuminating and reducing unconscious bias in the development and use of AI. Together with leaders and experts across law, business, technology, and government, EqualAI is developing standards and tools, as well as identifying regulatory and legislative solutions, to increase awareness of and reduce bias.
