Lucantonio Salvi Officially Becomes Sheppard Mullin’s New Chair
Sheppard Mullin is pleased to announce that Washington, D.C.-based Corporate partner Lucantonio (Luca) Salvi today, October 12, officially succeeds Guy Halgren, as Chair of the firm. Salvi is the firm’s fifth full-time Chair and the first Chair located outside of California. He succeeds Halgren who has held the role since 2001. Salvi was elected in April 2021 by the firm’s partnership and has served alongside Halgren since then as Chair-Elect.
Salvi has been a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and is a partner in the Corporate practice group. He joined Sheppard Mullin as a partner in 2006, served as the Co-Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office from 2012-2017, and was previously the Leader of the firm's Aerospace and Defense and Private Equity Teams. Salvi has been instrumental in building the firm’s East Coast M&A and private equity practice which focuses on leveraged buyouts. He has lived and worked in the U.S., Belgium, the United Kingdom, Poland and Italy. Salvi received his B.A., cum laude, from Georgetown University; his MALD from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy; and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
