Sheppard Mullin Represents Hartle Media In Acquisition Of California Home & Design
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP announced today that it advised Hartle Media, the publisher of 7x7 magazine, on the acquisition of a controlling interest in California Home & Design magazine from 18 Media, LLC.
Concurrently, The McEvoy Group, formed by Nion McEvoy, the chairman and CEO of Chronicle Books, increased its equity investment in Hartle Media. McEvoy's family previously owned the San Francisco Chronicle.
Sheppard Mullin attorneys advising Hartle Media on the transactions include: entertainment and media partner Craig Cardon , corporate partner Randy Short , with tax partners John Bonn and Matthew Richardson , and associate Chris Jaenike .
