Susan W. Roberts

Susan Roberts is an attorney in the Entertainment, Technology and Advertising Practice Group in the firm's Century City office.

Professional and Educational Background

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Susan was an associate in the entertainment group of a Los Angeles law firm where she handled a variety of matters related to film, television, podcast and digital media deals.

Susan received her law degree from Tulane Law School where she served as a Student Attorney in Tulane’s First Amendment Clinic, Senior Managing Editor for the Sports Lawyers Journal, President of the Entertainment Law Society, and Vice President of Communications of the Sports Law Society. During law school, Susan was a national finalist in both the Tulane Professional Football Negotiation Competition and the Tulane Professional Basketball Negotiation Competition.

Prior to law school, Susan represented her home state of South Carolina in the Miss America competition, where she placed in the Top 10. Susan is also a professionally trained ballerina and was selected to represent the United States in several international ballet competitions, including the Prix de Lausanne, Helsinki International Ballet Competition, Moscow International Ballet Competition and Istanbul International Ballet Competition.
