Overview
Tatum Novitzky is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the firm's San Francisco office.
Areas of Practice
Tatum’s practice focuses on employer litigation, where she represents employers in a range of civil lawsuits in state and federal courts. She represents employers against claims involving harassment, retaliation, discrimination, and wrongful termination. Tatum also defends employers against individual wage and hour claims, PAGA representative actions, and class actions.
While in law school, Tatum served as a board member of the UC Law SF (formerly UC Hastings) National Moot Court Appellate Team. She participated in three moot court competitions and received a second place team and an oral advocate award. At UC Law SF, Tatum was also a Legal Research and Writing and Torts Teaching Assistant, the Vice President of the Sports Law Society, and a member of the Honor Society.
Prior to her legal career, Tatum worked as a legal assistant for the patent litigation team at one of the top law firms in the United States. During undergrad, Tatum played on UC Santa Cruz’s NCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball Team and served as court captain.
